Safe Haven
Insomnia : habitual sleeplessness; inability to sleep. As she thought back, she realized that sleep had never been kind to her. Staying awake at night came naturally to her, tossing and turning. But even back then she always knew that that wasn't how it should've been. All around her when there was peace and quiet, there was noise and restlessness inside her. Her whole body was wired tight, her mind a raging ocean of thoughts. She wanted to be out and about not because she had things to do or even because she wanted to be around people, but because she wanted the noise of the world and everyday chatter to dull down the voices in her head.
